Chris' Question
Hello CatherineI've got a drupal site and I am trying to create my own menus.
The problem I am having is how to create content for a content type. Every time I create something I cant access it again in my menu.
Can you help?
I am using pathauto at the moment but I am uncertain what path types to create for my nodes?
Chris
I'm not quite sure what you're asking me. To create any type of content just click on 'create content' on the left and choose the type of content you want to create. Finding the content depends on the content type you have created. On Bottleweb.org for example when you create a blog entry it will appear in the blogs page, and if you create a forum topic it will appear in the forums. If, on your website, you don't have a forum link or a blog link, or a 'new content' block then you will not be able to find those files unless you go into your administrator account and click Administer->Content.
I hope this helps.
Cath
problem solved
thanks Catherine for replying, i went on to irc chat drupal support nad asked more questions and it finally got down to a problem with the views and a conflict between the name of one of my nodes and the name of one of my paths which were the same. Once that was sorted out then i could view the content I wanted on the url of my menu item
